Jen here and today i am mixing watercolouring with distress inks with simple die cutting using Concord and 9th products.
I started by tracing around the flower and leaf dies from Fine Florals onto water colour card stock with a pen before washing them with water and adding barn door and shabby shutter distress inks.
Whilst letting them dry i cut the dies from black card stock and then stuck them over the water coloured areas. I then cut around the die with scissors as close as possible.
For the card bases I used the quilted card front on a white and black card base and then added the flowers and leaves to the front. I stamped the sentiments from the matching stamp set (currently out of stock but add on a back in stock notification) and then cut them out using the Pre text Banner dies from The Greetery.
A couple of simple floral cards to add to your stash.
