Jen here and today I have gone into my stamp archives to use an old favourite from MFT stamps - Puppy Pals. This super cute set of pups is perfect for dog lovers and the images are the perfect size for mini slimline cards.
I stamped and coloured in one of the pups from the set and then cut him out with matching dies as well as a few of the bones so i could add them as embellishments.
I stamped the backgound stamp with midnight ink from concord & 9th and then trimmed it down to size to fit the top 2/3rd of the card blank.
I used the sentiment from the set and white heat embossed onto red card to match the image and cut into a thin strip to go across the card. I finished by adding the pup and bones using foam tape for some dimension.
Next time you are shopping dont forget to have a look at stamps from prior releases you may have missed...
