Hi friends, Terri here! I’m excited to share a new card I made using the Waffle Flower Crafts Nesting Postage Collage product suite. This is my first time trying out these products, and I couldn’t wait to get creative with them!

I began by working with the Nesting Postage Collage Party Bear layering stencil. The stencils are thoughtfully designed with etched numbers and guide lines for precise alignment, and they also come with suggested colours to make creating so much easier.
I stencilled the design using dye-based ink and blending brushes on 100 lb super-smooth white cardstock. I used some Liquid Stardust and a tiny paint brush to flick some sparkle in the sky, then I added some postage marks using a light grey ink. I then die-cut the panel with the Nesting Postage Collage Die. This set includes two large dies—one with a postage edge and the other is a straight edge rectangle. I cut some teal cardstock using the postage-edge die and adhered the stencilled panel on top.

Nesting Postage Collage Blocks Stencil, I applied the airmail pattern to a piece of white cardstock with lilac ink. I then layered it onto teal cardstock and set it aside while I prepared the card base. On an A2 white card, I stamped images from the Nesting Postage Collage Stamp, using lilac ink for some impressions and teal for the others.
Now it was time to assemble the card. I adhered the postage-pattern panel to my card base using wet adhesive, then added the stencilled panel on top with foam pads for extra dimension. It was at this point I realised I hadn’t stamped a sentiment yet! I stamped the word “celebrate” in lilac ink onto white cardstock and used the small rectangle die from the Nesting Postage Collage Die to cut it out. I also cut the small postage-edge die from lilac cardstock and layered the two pieces together. I placed the sentiment on the card and finished by adding some white gel-pen highlights to the bear and present.

I had such a blast creating with these new products! I can already see so many fun card ideas for the future. Thank you so much for stopping by today!
