Jen here and today I have two clean and simple Christmas Cards using the Overlapping Christmas Stencil from Waffle Flower.
I started by stencilling the words layer by layer in lime green and teal inks from C&9th using the media mat to stop it all moving around. Once I had done the blending i set it aside to dry fully.
I picked some of the words and trimmed them into the strips, the remaining words used the matching dies to trim them out.
I made two bright card bases in matching card to the ink and embossed the lime green one with a textured embossing folder.
On the teal I added the strips of words at a diagonal to keep it simple. On the lime card i added the sentiments into a tree and added a trunk and star to finish it off. Two really simple cards from one stencil image.
