We all have those times when we've either forgotten a birthday or left it until the last moment to make a card and we are pushed for time. When this happens I like to reach for a paper pad and a statment sentiment die and create a 5min make.
I chose to use the Fuchsia soiree paper pad from Altenew because it has a great mix of striking floral prints and simlpe yet bold patterns. I used one of the large watercolour flowers as my main piece and then used a Purple stripe pattern to add a border, I thought it looked so much better when I added a small black piece of card between the two patterned pieces.
I used the Bold greetings die to cut my "Hello" sentiment form black card, the stark contrast of the soft water colour and black just work somehow, I love this look. All that was left to do was add a few Satin gold sequins to finish the card.
