Jen here today and I am sharing two clean and simple water coloured cards with you today. Anita Jerams' images are perfect for trying out a water colouring and you can get amazing results even if you are a beginner.
I started off by stamping both of the images from Anita Jerams Recharge stamp set onto a piece of A2 water colour card stock with Versafine Clair ink in Nocture. This is one of my absolute favourite inks for water colouring as its a crisp black.
I coloured in the images using water colours, ensuring I left each layer to dry before adding more colour to give some depth. I trimmed the panels and added a sentiment from the same set to one of the images.
I created two card bases using coloured card stock to match before adhering the panels to the bases. I finished off the second card with a white embossed sentiment on black card which i trimmed down and added a fishtale end.
Both cards took less than an hour to finish including some drying time so if you are short on time but fancy making a couple of cards watercolouring can give you great results.
Thats all from me for today... Have a great Saturday
Jen xx
