Hi there, I've been looking through my stash for some 'under used' stamp sets and found these pretty Flower Silhouettes by MFT but instead of using a dark ink I've added colour to the images by using my stamp positioner. The stamp positioner allows you to add multi colours for a blended look and the daisies are coloured using a pale grey ink and then I used a cloth to remove some of the ink from the stamp before applying it to the cardstock.
I've used the matching dies to cut the flowers out then arranged them in a rather modern looking vase which is actually a takeout coffee cup die from Lil inkers. I've used the Radiating Halftone background to stamp navy spots onto it but you could easily use patterned paper... I added a solid colour around the base for a contrast and modern look.
The background is made using Soft grey ink blended through Altenews Stone Wall stencil... I love the effect as a backdrop for these flowers. The sentiment is from an older Wplus9 sent which is linked below... I think we all need to send Happy thoughts at the moment!
