Today I have a nearly one layer card for you. One layer cards are a big challenge for me and I admire all the designers who create them so easily (as it seems).
I used another set with ocean critters (I told you about my addiction to any stamp set ocean and underwater creatures related sometime ago) from Lawn Fawn called Ocean Shell-fie. And I also added in an octopus from Lawn Fawn's Octopi My Heart.
I stamped all the images with a little bit of masking on a panel of alcohol marker friendly paper. As my colouring medium I chose alcohol marker. And I created the background with alcohol markers, too. To achieve a smooth look for the water I added A LOT of colour until the paper was drenched in ink. This way all the colours blend easily in the background. For some bubbles I added dots with a colourless blender.
Because of my love of all underwater themed stuff I had to get Waffle Flower's Under the Sea Sentiments. I chose one of the sentiments and heat embossed it in white on a stripe of black cardstock.
To finish up my card I added some sparkling sequins.
