Originally launched in the late 2000s the store has changed owners a couple of times, but has always been owned and run by crafters who share your paper-crafting passion, so aim to bring you the very best products from around the world at competitive prices with unbeatable customer service.
We bought the store in January 2014 and have expanded it considerably since. We follow the top US bloggers and keep our finger on the pulse of the industry and pride ourselves on being the first UK store to bring you many of the new brands we find in the USA, Japan and Europe.
Several of our brands are only available in the UK via our store as we continue to work hard to bring you the best quality products that have something interesting to offer.
In January 2016 we changed the name of the store from Make The Day Special to Seven Hills Crafts to reflect the more crafty nature of our business and to give a nod to where we live as Sheffield, like Rome, is built on seven hills.
We are still a small, independent store – EVERY ORDER is processed and packed by hand by the two of us – we don’t have any employees at SHC HQ so when you email us you are speaking directly to the owners too. We do have a brilliant Design Team who help us inspire you with the products we offer – you can find out more about them and us on our Meet the Team page.
We do our best to get everything done fast but we wear very many hats (ordering, data entry, emails and website maintenance, order packing, marketing, finance and all the other things involved in running a small business these days) so bear with us if we don’t reply within minutes!
