I LOVE a gnome! So when I saw the Big & Bold Slimine Gnome from Colorado Craft Company he had to come an live with me. He's super to colour - so detailed and such a good size that I coloured him twice and made a little shrinky version to make a gift card for a gardener complete with seeds and a plant tag.
For the card front I just coloured him with copics, masked him when finished and then ink blended the background with oxide inks.
I stamped him first onto shrink plastic using Stazon Piano Black on the FRONT of the plastic - that way you can flip it over and colour with alochol markers on the BACK without affecting the stamping. A simple snip around with scissors and a blast with a heat gun then you've got a shrinkly little gnome dude!
I just glued him onto a plastic plant marker and wrote the type of seeds I'm including in my gift card on it. You could really go to town and make a heap of little gnomes in different colours and leave the blank for the recipients to write on. [You could use smaller gnomes if you don't want to do the shrink plastic thing and laminate them so they'd be waterproof]
To create the gift card I used the fab new die from Reverse Confetti - Ornament Star - as well as creating a really BIG bauble, it has a gift card element so you can slide a gift card inside a flap - well seed packets are the same width as gift cards so they fit perfectly too!
Given the fact that social distancing is still prevelant in most places, I think postable gifts will be handy this year so hope this gives you a cute idea for one.
