Hello & Happy Thursday.
Today I am sharing a clean & simple grunge style card with a Valentine’s spin. I have used a mix of Concord & 9th products.
I started out by masking the lefthand side of my white card panel and stamped the grid circle from Eclectic Garden Stamp Set in Altenew Grey Denim ink.
I then used hearts from Playful Patterns and a small heart from the Eclectic Garden stamp sets, stamping them in Concord & 9th Honeysuckle and Poppy ink. I felt it needed a little more pattern to balance the background, so I stamped the little stitched like crosses from Brighter Days stamp set in Altenew Charcoal Suit.
For the focal point I selected one of the sentiment butterflies from Bold Butterflies stamp set, stamping it in Oceanside and die cutting it out with the coordinating Bold Butterfly Dies.
I was going to leave it as a one layer card, but decided to trim my white card panel one the righthand side and adhere to an Oceanside card base. Finally I finished with a flight trail made with Nuvo Drops, but you could easily use a fine liner or even enamel dots to create this.
That’s all from me this week. Happy Crafting!
