Hi, it's Ruby. I'm here with a spring-colours birthday card. I don't use this kind of colour scheme very often, but I thought I'd have a play.
It's a lovely card to make.
-
Die-cut the bouquet wrapper from patterned paper using the It's a Wrap Mini Posy Pocket Die.
-
Die-cut a pink bow using the same set. I used Concord & 9th's Sweet Pea cardstock.
-
Stamp and die-cut some flowers from The Greetery's AlphaBuds Floral Details Stamp and Die Set, then piece them together to form a bouquet.
-
Die-cut a larger pink rectangle using a curved rectangular die set, and attach it to the card base. These are similar to the ones I used.
-
Die-cut a smaller white rectangle, and stencil it using Altenew's Classy Stripe Stencil with Altenew's Chamomile ink.
-
Stamp Happy Birthday using The Greetery's Tear Strip Tags Birthday Stamp Set, and attach it to the stencilled panel. I contemplated cutting the stamp apart, but as it's designed to cut perfectly with the matching die set, I decided to leave it well alone and cut it apart after I'd stamped it, using just the words.

Add some pearls to finish.
Have a great week!
