I've been having fun today doing a little colouring and a little paper-piecing to create a fun little scene using a couple of the new stamps from Avery Elle - Feels Like Home and Feels Like Home Additions.

I started with the cosy arm chair and stamped it onto some paper scraps - I added the arms as a second layer to add depth and stamped the base and legs onto a scrap of wooden paper. I used more paper scraps to create the wall paper, floor and the skirting board.

Then I stamped the characters, plant and arwork onto while card, coloured with pencils and fussy cut them out (you could use the dies for speed if you prefer but I didn't want the white border this time). The plant is a bit fiddly but you can manage with good scissors and a finger knife!

There are so many possibilities with these two stamp sets - you can create lots of different scenes for cosy cards.
