Hey everyone, I'm back after a few months hiatus from moving house and I have finally got a craft room to get back into creating.
Since I didn't get around to making many Christmas cards this year I wanted to find a way to use some of the fabulous Purple Onion Chilli images release before the holidays so decided that the Owlsome Christmas image was perfect for a January birthday card.

I started by colouring in the image using my alcohol markers, keeping it super simple as always before over stamping in Versafine Clair nocturne ink (using a stamping platform). I then added some white pen detail and fussy cut the cute pair out.
I found some designer paper that matched (this is an older MFT one but you can see what's in store here). I probably should have found the paper first and then coloured it to match instead.
I added the paper to a card blank and then trimmed down a piece of white card stock with an angle at one side. I took the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Concord & 9th Mix Tape Rewind stamp set as I have it out ready to make another project and stamped in across the bottom.
I added the panel over the designer paper using mounting tape and then added the image above the sentiment.
Love how it turned out...
Hope you have a great Saturday
Jen xx
