Although we don't have the tradition of a pinata party over here I couldn't resist the cute critters from Mama Elephant's Pinata Party.
The adorable mole is my favourite one from the set. So I knew that it had to be on my card. I added in the penguin and one of the pinatas.
I stamped and coloured the images. To cut them out there are coordinating dies available.
When you like a frame around your focal point, Reverse Confetti's All Framed Up is a die set you should take a look at. You get a lot of frames with or without stitching. I die cut one of them a few times form white cardstock and stacked them up.
For the background I added some ink blending in the colours I also used for the critters. I also sprinkled some splatters of the colours on the panel. Then I glued the frame on the background and arranged the images.
Under the frame I stamped a sentiment from My favorite Things' Bitty Birthday Wishes and that finished up my card.
