Hello & Happy Thursday!
Today I am sharing a simple birthday card.
I saw a printed birthday card in an online shop not long ago laid out like this and thought it would be fun to replicate it.
As I don’t actually have any alphabet stamps (yes, that *needs* to be rectified) I decided to use the inlaid die cut technique.
For this I used MFT Impact Alphabet dies. I love the size and font of these dies. I used masking tape to place my dies and then die cut the letters all at once. I kept the small insides of the letters, so that I could fill the coloured letters to keep the card completely flat. This is so that the ‘HAPPY’ sentiment from Concord & 9th Color Me Happy could be stamped.
Such a fun design to use up those scraps of coloured card and easily personalised too with the recipients favourite colours.
That’s all from me today.
