I hope you are enjoying the sunshine this week, it feels like a real treat for sure. I’ve been making the most of the cooler temps in the studio on a morning and then enjoying the sun on the afternoon in the garden.
Anyway, I’ve been in a bit of a masculine card roll this week and thought I would make one to share with you.
One of my ‘go to’ themes for masculine cards is geometrics and the current Freshly Made Sketch layout is perfect.
I decided to dust off the Concord & 9th Paint Swash Turnabout for the main pattern on my card and for my colours I chose Oceanside, Fig, Pebble and Cobblestone.
After stamping my pattern I used a trio of circle dies to die cut the circles and adhered them to my card using double sided tape, apart from the medium circle which I adhered using foam adhesive.
I realised that I need to get some more masculine occasion sentiments, like Father’s Day I have found another gap in my stash! So instead I decided to use the ‘You are totally awesome’ sentiment from Reverse Confetti Best Sentiments. Be quick as this set is on sale and retired.
A few liquid drops / enamel dots and I was done. This is such a fun layout and you could easily change up the pattern or even the die cut shape to change things up.
