Hi, Terri here! Today I’m sharing a handmade Valentine’s Day card created using a variety of Waffle Flower Crafts dies, stencils, and stamps. This layered design combines soft pink tones, elegant textures, and dimensional sentiments for a romantic, eye-catching finish.

I began by die cutting the card background with the Dashed Lattice Texture Die, cutting smooth white cardstock to 4" x 5.25". To add interest and colour, I used the Dashed Lattice Hearts Stencil with two shades of pink dye ink, blending them together to create a soft, layered heart pattern.
With the background complete, I moved on to the focal elements. The main sentiment was die cut using the Overlapping Vertical Love Die from both pink cardstock and silver glitter cardstock. I layered the pieces slightly offset to create a subtle drop-shadow effect. For the coordinating sub-sentiment, I stamped an image from the Overlapping Love Additions Stamp and Die in pink ink, then die cut it using the matching coordinating die. An extra pink die-cut layer behind the sentiment adds depth and dimension.

To assemble the card, I mounted a pink card panel onto an A2 white note card, then layered the stenciled background panel on top, leaving a thin pink border around the edges. To help the sentiment stand out against the detailed background, I die cut vellum using the Nesting Piercing Classic Labels Die. This softened the pattern while keeping the design visible. I attached the vellum label with foam adhesive for dimension and placed the sub-sentiment at the bottom of the label.
To finish the card, I added several die-cut hearts in coordinating pink and silver glitter cardstock, pulling the entire design together and completing this elegant Valentine’s Day handmade card.
