With Love – The Greetery Wildwood Set

Hi everyone, it's Natalia here today with a full on floral number.

As the cosy nights are drawing in, it's the perfect time to spend an evening stamping away.

One set that I've been wanting to revisit lately, is the Wildwood set from The Greetery.

It features stamp layering for the main blooms and many of the leafy elements, and comes with a lovely illustrated guide with colour inspiration – in a palette I've never used before.

The coordinating main Wildwood die set cuts out all the layering elements. I haven't snipped all the dies apart, as I like to cut almost everything in one go and use the cutout panel as a jig in my stamp positioner.

So, up for the challenge, I rooted around in my ink drawer and got stamping - mainly with the Warm Gray and Red Sunset sets from Altenew for the colour layering, with a few other shades thrown in for good measure.

I also used the illustrated guide as an aid for building up my rather maximalist bouquet by popping a clear piece of plastic over it to use as a template. I arranged and stuck together the different "greenery" layers over the guide, so I could easily transfer them to my card for final assembly.

As the backdrop to those florals, I cut the largest A2 Stitched Scallops die from a rustic off-white cardstock that has flecks in it.

I finished off the panel with a sentiment from the Wildwood stamp set cut with the separate Wildwood Sentiments die set.

To bring the whole look together, I went dramatic with a deep burgundy cardstock.

Until next time, happy crafting!
