The stand-alone flower is identical to one of the flowers included in the cluster so it can be used for easy dimensional layering.
Note from the Designer - Why I Designed This Stamp Set: When I create cards, I like to arrange clusters of at least three flowers at a time onto my card base. My vision for this stamp set was to design a stamp that would include three flowers in one go. When you stamp this flower cluster, you won't need to do any additional masking or multi-dimensional layering to get that beautiful layered look.
