2025 Calendar Part 2

2025 Calendar Part 2

Happy Thursday.

Today I have four more months to share of my 2025 desktop calendar. If you missed the first four you can see them HERE.

Last year I purchased the Concord & 9th 2024 Calendar Stamp Set as I knew there must be a way to get it to work for more than one year. It’s took a little stamp cutting, but I have made it work.

I started by trimming off the months of the year from the dates. I then went through the 2025 calendar on my phone to write a list of which months in 2024 would work for the months in 2025. Here is what I cam up with for today's four months.

May 2025 = August 2024

June 2025 = September 2024

July 2025 = October 2024

August 2025 = March 2024

For my month panels I trimmed white card to 10.5 x 14 cm and lightly drew pencil marks 2cm in from the sides and bottom edges. I then stamped the dates above and added the month.

And here are my next four months…

For May I decided to ink blend the background into a late spring sky. I used Blueberry, Harbor, Buttercup and Grapefruit from top to bottom.

I then stamped the magnolia floral from Concord & 9th Magnolia Messages.

For June I was thinking of Father's Day and opted for a fun pattern using a variety of stamps from Paint Swash Turnabout, Buds & Blossoms and Good Vibes Turnabouts

I used Peacock, Dragonfruit and Midnight for my colours.

For July I went back to florals and selected another favourite Concord & 9th stamp set, Flower Shaker Shapes.

What's not to love about this bright and bold flower stamped in Sprout, Honeysuckle and Buttercup.

Next up is August and I was thinking ice cream, so why not floral ice cream using Concord & 9th Pretty Sweet.

I used Wheat for the cone stamped onto the calendar background. Then Honeysuckle, Oceanside and Fig for the flowers.

I stamped the centre of the flower in Buttercup and Parsley for the leaves. I adhered some with double sided tape and others with foam tape. Finally finishing with a trio of Poppy stamped hearts.

Just four more months left, which I will share next week.
