Hello everyone! It's Natalia here today with a project inspired by last week's District Twelve25 product reveals for the Noel Needleworks shop hop with The Greetery!
The Capsule Quilt Shop and Quilt Block Builder sets made me instantly think of The Greetery's past stitchy releases, including the wonderful Christmas Sampler layering stencils and coordinating stamps and dies.
For my 2026 take on the Christmas Sampler stencils, I started off with an A2 panel of pink cardstock as my background.
It still lets the various ink colours show through nicely, including those light grey tones.
But you know me, I love a bit of festive pink!
The 6 stencil layers are nicely illustrated with the included stencil guide, and you can use smaller shader brushes to apply different colours to each layer if you prefer.
Once the panel was done, I blasted it with a heat gun to dry the ink as much as possible before adding white details with a paint pen.
I wanted to turn the sampler design into a wall hanging, so I added a "wooden frame" around the sampler with 1/8" cardstock strips.
The Bow Bookmark and Hang It Up die sets were also featured a lot in the Noel Needleworks hop, so to complete the wall hanging look, I added the bow (complete with snipped-off bow tails) and allowed the gold details of the small hanger to peek through.
Finally, I added the Christmas Sampler Sentiments stamped on Ivory card, which made the little white details pop more.
And there we go, I look forward to seeing the next stops on The Greetery's shop hop!
Until next time, happy crafting!
