Now we have the blog up and running again, and have managed to get all the Design Team set up, we wanted to have a week to celebrate our new brand - Lesia Zgharda Designs - here on the inspiration blog. So from now until Sunday, we will all be bringing you a project featuring these fabulous, super detailed, stamps (made in the Ukraine in difficult circumstances with bombings frequently interrupting power supplies so we're so proud to support this brave lady with her fabulous brand!) Lesia herself will be joining us on Friday with her stunning colouring skills so check back daily for a dose of inspiration with these super cute designs.
I'm kicking things off today with a Christmas card featuring an adorable little mouse in a tree hollow.

I started by stamping the image using Versafine Clair Nocturn - it's my go to black for any detailed stamping as you get clean and crisp results every single time - direct to centre of a square base card. Although not designed for alcohol inks, I do find if you give it a little drying time it works well with those too but here I opted for pencils to colour the image, using a blending pencil (Derwent) to soften the shading. Although they are solitary birds, I turned the 3 birds into robins to give it a Christmas spin and stuck to red and green on the scarf to go the traditional Christmas colours route.
I added a little Astropaste to the snow for some glitter and depth (currently sold out but you could use stickles glittlers or other pastes instead)
I used an old MFT checkered paper pad to create the pattern on the card - cutting a hole in the middle for the image to pop through. I used the same die, plus the next size up to create a thin red frame to put around the image, and matched that with some strips of the same card to match the check. Finished with a simple sentiment on a strip for the same card.
I can't wait to get my hands on another stamp and get colouring - they are such great images to colour if colouring is your thing!
Check back tomorrow for Natalia's take on another stamp in the range....
Happy Crafting!
