Think of birthdays and you can't help think of balloons... well how about using the new vault release stamp set from MFT to send a flurry of eco friendly balloons on a card instead....
You have quite a selection in this set including three patterned balloons too. I just love using all the rainbow colours to stamp them out onto a piece of cardstock and the co-ordinating dies to cut them out. I decided to just stamp them once but you can easily add shading with extra layers of stamping or coloured pencil if you want too. Rather than arrange them in a bunch I went for a floating look.....I reckon someone has just let go of the strings!!!
Once I had decided on the position of all the balloons I stamped in the strings with grey ink before using foam pads to adhere them. I think it looks better to make a few of them overhang the edges of the card so they can be trimmed... making them literally float off the card. With the HB2U ballon centre stage I didn't think any other sentiment was needed. Ahhh don't they look pretty and the best thing is..... they wont pop!!!
