Hi Crafty Friend
Hello, we hope you are having a good week so far. It's been a pretty hectic one here at SHC HQ - 3 new arrivals have been added to store but it took us a day longer than we'd hoped as we had some serious customs wrangling to do which wiped out about 4 hours off our working week. It's all done now though so let's give you a quick round-up of all the new goodies you'll find in store.
Concord and 9th
There are some really fun products in this month's release - we really love the Silly Goose which has some great bits if funny cards are your thing, and the little sheep are super cute too! If you like a pun then the dill-ightful stamp and die is a must have.
We're also wondering if the hillside die might have been inspired by our logo??? There is definitely a similar shape - we'll have to make one using our colours! There are a couple of different turnabout this month too - one with a split for leaves and flowers making it easy to get the colours you want, and a super fun pattern which is great for making your own patterned paper in the perfect colours for your project.
Kristina Werner
Kristina brings some more pattern this month with a new stencil that works for a variety of backgrounds, and there is also a numbers set to match last month's alphabet so handy for birthday cards when you want to add a name and number!
There are also some more wonderful standalone sentiment dies, a stunning layered floral die with lots of pieces to make assembly a breeze and a really fun speech bubble stamp, die and stencil set which can create some really contempory cards for those you find it hard to make for.
Pinkfresh Studio
Pinkfresh Studio's collection this month has a floral/sewing theme split. There are quite a few sets themed around sewing/embroidery with everything you need from floss spools (in a variety or sizes) to pin cushions, scissors and buttons!
There are also a couple of great floral stencil and die kits - if you've not yet tried these because you struggle with lining things up then these kits are a game changer - their stencils come with 3 little triangles and lining those up each time makes it super-easy to get everything right and the dies have the same triangles so lining it all up means a PERFECT cut everytime! There are a couple of new sentiment sets to work with it all too.
That's all the arrivals for this week - next week will be quieter, except for next Thursday when we will have the first major Lawn Fawn release of the year (we've 7 boxes currently winging their way across the pond!) so if you're a Fawnie - stand by your beds at 7am next Thursday morning........
Happy Crafting!
Tara & Rick
