Hi everyone! It's Natalia here today with a little cottagecore-inspired card.
And cottagecore has certainly embraced the bow trend - not that we've ever needed an excuse!

I started by creating the perfect cottagecore background using the Bitty Botanicals background stamp and stencil combo from The Greetery on C9 Almond cardstock.
The 1-step stencil allows you to add different colours to the blooms with a smaller shader brush. I went over the petals with fineliners and a white paint pen to add extra details.
Then I cut the coordinating Diamond Ribbons die from C9 Nectar, along with a gazillion bows from that set. OK, 18 bows!
Next, I needed a fancy focal point for my sentiment, so I pulled out the Oblong Octagon Labels dies and the Ciao Bella Borders stamp and die kit.
I used a mix of coral tones to create the labels, with C9 Ivory card providing contrast for the outer popped-up frame and the stamped greeting (also from the Ciao Bella Borders set).

To add a touch more maximalism to the frame, I went around the straight edges of the Oblong Octagon Labels die with a gold paint pen.
The scalloped Ciao Bella Borders die created the perfect aperture around the sentiment label, and one of the larger dies in this set also provided enough of a border to make the label stand out more, so it wasn't lost against that busy background.
For a final finishing touch, there had to be one more bow - this time cut from a darker coral tone and in a different style from the ones used on the background.
And there we go!
Until next time, happy crafting!
