Hey stampers, Anni here!
Today I have a flower card for you featuring Sugar Peas' Meadow Motifs.
I wanted to create a background with the flowers. So I stamped all the flowers in the set two times on watercolour paper with Versafine Tuxedo Black ink. I went with a waterproof ink because I wanted to colour with watercolour pens. There are coordinating dies available for this set.
When I had all my flowers ready I die cut a rectangle from grey cardstock and layed out all the images. When I liked it I adhered them using dimensional adhesive. It is important to go over the edge to make it look more natural. Then I cut it down with a pair of scissors.
For the sentiment I die cut the word happy from Concord & 9th's Birthday Die set from turquoise cardstock. I liked this one because it is on the smaller side. That went well with my design. In Lawn Fawn's Offset Sayings: Birthday I found just the right "Birthday" to go along.
I adhered both on a vellum circle and then on my flower panel.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.
