Hi everyone, it's Natalia here today! I'm back with a colourful birthday number featuring supplies from The Greetery.
I was flicking through some A2 card backgrounds I'd recently stamped, and one stood out as a fun choice for a colourful birthday card.
But what to put with this decidedly bold and loud background?
Well, the Takes the Cake Mini die of course!
I cut the cake from C9 Ivory card stippled with Lawn Fawn Kiddie Pool ink, added the glittery frosting, stamped the tiny candles, and arranged the cake on a silver cake stand.
And to make the cake pop out against the chevron background, I cut a Crimped Circle from white cardstock, and created some fringed circle layers in yellow and peachy tones.
I trimmed down the chevron background to pop it onto a C9 Clover cardbase and all that remained was to add (yet again!) a fab sentiment from The Greetery's Laid Back Basics set.
Some sparkly sequins also added to the fun, and card complete!
