Morning.. Jen here and today I have a simple card using the new stencil from Altenew - Styles Backgrounds along with some distress oxides for a subtle look.
I started off by creating a panel using the stencils and my distress oxides (Victorian Velvet, Scattered Straw, Seedless Preserves, Bundled Sage, Wild Honey and Rustic Wilderness). For the leaves I added more dimension using the very small 1/4" blending brushes from Pink Fresh Studio Â
I set the panel aside to dry fully and love how the colours are muted and created a kraft card base.
I then trimmed down the stencilled panel and mounted it on Rainforest Card Stock from Concord & 9th.
For the sentiment I heat embossed white onto the same green card stock using the Mixed Sentiments Stamp & Die combo from Waffle Flower. Love this new sentiment set as it has some fabulous choices. I did actually heat emboss this 3 times on top of each other for some extra dimension.
I trimmed out a couple of card banners using green and pink card stock, added a staple or too to join then together than added these to the card base before adding the sentiment using foam tape.
