I've been having lots of fun celebrating the Lawn Fawn release today and have paired the new Build-A-Critter Accessories Graduation Die with the previously released Build-A-Bunny Die to create a Harey Potter bookmark!

I created a bunny as normal from grey card, but as I wanted to have the Harey Potter character sticking up from the top of the bookmark I wanted him to have a back as well as a front so I drew around the face die cut to create myself a blank back of the head to cover the pieces you stick behind normally to create the inner ears, eyes and nose. Its a simple shape to cut with scissors but if fussy cutting isn't your thing, you can skip this step and just pop your character fully onto your bookmark so the back doesn't show.

I used the gown, again on the front and back to create his costume - and added a set of feet at the back too.  I messed up and forgot to put the gown sash on before the head so had to cut it to pieces to get the bit at the back but it was an easy fix!  I cut another sash and cut off just one side to make a tie in his house colours.
The wand is made by using the tassle that should sit on the mortar board hat, but I cut off the tassle bit - I stacked 3 so it was nice and thick and wouldn't rip in use in a book as it will be sticking out at the top.

I then used the house colours to create a stack of books - one to stand him on, then a pile at the bottom. The books are cut using the previously released Book Collection Die and the whole thing was finished with a simple sentiment from Dream Big which can make brilliant little bookmarks in its own right too!
I think my potter loving friends will be asking for one of these when they see it!

Happy Crafting!
