Today I thought I would remind you of the fabulous Concord & 9th Flashback Friday deals that Tara posted a couple of weeks ago.
With it being Concord & 9th I had to have a look at the bargains available and I noticed the sweet Petite Posies Stamp Set at an amazing price. So as there are a few left in stock, I was inspired to ink my set up for my card today.
I’ve used a couple of fun techniques on my card today which don’t over power or take away from the clean & simple look I was going for.
First I did some Rock ’n’ Roll inking for my flowers. I am still loving the peach shades and I combined Nectar & Grapefruit for one flower, Grapefruit & Sorbet for the middle one and the lower one I used Sorbet & Cayenne. The stems and leaves are a mix of Parsley & Evergreen.
The second technique is a bit of masking and the third is this fun split panel to add a little interest without adding bulk or embellishment. I did all my stamping and then just trimmed the lower section off at about 1cm. I then adhered the stamped panels to my Dove card base leaving a little gap in between.
