Hey stampers, Anni here!
I needed a card for a good friend of mine who is going through tough times. And I think Reverse Confetti's Huggable has just the right images for such a card.
I started by stamping the cute bear with the heart with Versafine Onyx Black ink because I wanted to some watercolouring. I did some fast colouring with Distress Inks reinkers because that was just my basic layer. Then I added some details with pencils.
For my background I did some inkblending. I created a first layer with shades of pink and orange. For the next layer I used Altenew's Feeling Dotty stencil with the same colours and a darker red.
To give my image a frame I die cut Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle from a rectangle of white cardstock and used the negative part. I adhered it to my ink blended panel with dimensional adhesive.
The sentiment came from the Huggable set. I heat embossed it in white on a stripe of grey paper that matched the colour of the bear.
And that finished up my card.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.
Anni
