I have a couple of posts planned this week (time permitting) showing how you can use seasonal products beyond their season. I'm starting it off today with one of the January release products from Concord and 9th that has a very strong Valentines theme, but I think it is great for generic masculine cards too!
I've used the Fueled With Love Dies to create a masculine thank you card which is easy to do by missing out the dies with hearts on. Those dies add details to the panels on the fuel pumps but I just added letters instead which make up my thank you sentiment. This was cut from black using the new "The Perfect Fit Alpha Die" from A Pocket Full of Happiness. I actually asked Zsoka if she would make a small alphabet die as we have lots of large ones, but no current ones that are small enough to spell out sentiments with. This one really is the perfect fit!
This card is actually a gift card - we had someone we know come out to look at an issue with an elderly relatives door, which he fixed in about 5 minutes, so would not take any payment. So I added a fuel card to the inside of this to cover petrol costs but you could also add a coffee card and a "hope this fuels you" sentiment to pun it up a little for birthdays too!
And, if you saw my social media post earlier in the week about sorting my pile of scrap card into colour themed vinyl bags, then you can see I already put them to good use. The entire card was made with nothing but scraps from those bags - no full sheets were harmed in the making of this card!!!
