Jen here and today I have a fun birthday card for those beach or ocean loving friends using the end of summer release from Anita Jeram stamps from Colorado Craft.
I started by making a card base from Concord & 9th Harbour card stock - a beautiful pale blue colour and then securing it closed with a little bit of removable adhesive so I could stamp directly onto the front.
I stamped the beach background stamp in grey versafine clair ink to give a crisp print of the image that was a little tone on tone. You could also use versamark for this for a more subtle background.
I then stamped the images from Starfish Wish onto white card stock and coloured them in with my alcohol markers before cutting them out. This stamp set also has matching dies.
I trimmed a white panel with stitched dies and then added the sentiment into the middle making sure i had space for the image and the juggling star fish. I matted this panel on pink glitter card before adding it to the card base. Its finished off by adding the images using foam tape and adding a little sparkle to the star fish.
Thats all from me this week ... I'll be in full Christmas mode from next week starting a fun series so make sure you check it out
Have a great Saturday
Jen xx
