Jen here and today I am using a fun set from Avery Elle - Flamazing . I Absolutely love flamingos and diving so this was a perfect set for me. I have paired it up with lots of bright colours.
I started by stamping the Flamingo onto alcohol marker friendly card stock and coloured in using bright pink inks. Next I fussy cut out the image (you can use the matching dies) ready to mount onto a panel.
For the panel I pulled out an old favourite from Lil Inkers - Rounded Stitched Rectangles. Although Lil Inkers are no longer designing new dies you can still find some of the back catalogue in the shop.
I chose one of the smaller rectangles and cut out the panel and then stamped on a sentiment from the set, I added the seagull image from the set so it looked like it was perched on the sentiment and coloured it in.
The flamingo I added at an angle as if to look like he was popping in to say hello, trimming off any over hang with my scissors.
For the background I used a Buffalo Plaid set stamped in Twisted Citreon distress oxide ink. Finally i mounted the panel onto the card base and trimmed off the overhang
