Better Together
Morning all! I've got one card to share with you today. Last week I made lots of backgrounds using Concord & 9th's fabulous new Painted Dots Turnabout stamp, and while I made many cards, I still have some backgrounds to use up. So today's card came together really quickly.
I used a starburst circle die to cut out the monochromatic painted dot centre circle image. I used My Favorite Things Stitched Circles dies to cut out a black circle onto which I adhered the starburst circle. I adhered this to the front of the card. I stamped the heart and hands image from The Stamping Village We Stand With You set onto vellum and heat embossed with white powder. I used a die to cut out the image and a mat layer of black card. I added this to the front of the card. I finished the front by stamping one of the sentiments from We Stand With You on white card, but it to fit the front, added a strip of black card leading to the sentiment, adhered it with dimensional tape and added some enamel dots. Done!
I kept the inside of the card really simple. I added one of the quote from We Stand with You - it reads "Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean." I think it's beautiful.
