Double Wisteria with The Greetery's Garden Party Collection

Double Wisteria with The Greetery's Garden Party Collection

You've probably guessed that I'm a Bridgerton fan - tried to save the second part of season 3 but binged it all too fast!   So I'm consoling myself today with a couple of Wisteria themed cards instead.

The first I do feel has a feel of Bridgerton House with it's wisteria all around the house - I used the new Impressionist Garden Stencil to create the wisteria in the garden - the stencil curves to the right, but if you flip it over and ink from the back, then you can create a fuller garden double-arch.   I used altnew inks Green Fields and Enchanted Garden to stencil the garden and to blend some green ground at the bottom.

I die cut the Garden Gate from some soft grey card and die cut the fence portion twice more so I could extend it across the whole card front and added a sentiment on the hanging sign on the front of the gate using the matching Bloom and Grow Sentiments stamp that matches but also works for any garden themed card project.

I also wanted to make some bigger wisteria so set about with the die - cutting it from green card and dry rubbing over some darker green to bring out the veins in the leaves.  For the blooms I cut it all from a pale lilac card and used the same Enchanted Garden inks to blend some more shades of purple into it.

To create the card I just cut an oval, blended green onto the base card and popped the oval up on foam for some dimension before laying the blooms across the oval apperture.  I finished with a sentiment from Waffle Flower's Birthday Wishes Stamp because it was a perfect fit for the opposite corner.

Hope that's inspired you to get your Bridgerton on too!

Happy Crafting!
