Happy New Year 2021 everyone!
Every year make Happy New Year`s cards for the ones I didn’t send Christmas cards to.
I bought Altenew’s Mega Numbers in a bundle. That is quite an investment, but I never regret it because I can use them for so many occasions. I used them for birthdays, for Christmas and now for this New Year’s card. You can also buy them separately if you don’t want to spend so much money at once.
The big numbers asked for a slimline card. For the decoration I went with Mama Elephant’s Little Sloth Agenda. I coloured them with alcohol markers. To cut them out there are coordinating dies available.
When I arranged the sloths on my card they looked a little bit lost. So I went through my dies and looked for things to add to my little scenes: grass, clouds and things like that. Lawn Fawn’s Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add On is great for this. To be honest I never used the dies for the treat box but love all the little things that come in this set. For today’s card I used the grass and the stones but I also love the trunk, the anchor and the lifebelt. For the clouds I used My Favorite Things’ Petite Clouds. The tiny leaves I found in Mama Elephant’s Tree Branch Cover die.
