Mushroom Medley Thank You Card - Autumn Vibes

Hello there, Terri here! First off, what has happened to the weather? It's very wet and windy out there! I guess you could say todays card is inspired by the change in the season....

As soon as I saw the Mushroom Medley Die Set from Concord & 9th I knew I had to have it. I love mushrooms and Toadsttols and can see so many different colour combinations and themes with this set. First off I thought I'd channel Autumn.

I started by die cutting all of the elements from the Mushroom Medley Die Set from coloured cardstock, I then used ink from the Jewel Tones Crisp Dye Ink Pads to add a little ink blending to all of the pieces, these inks were the perfect shade for my chosen cardstock. I then assembeled all of the pieces using a strong wet glue.

I cut a piece of litte cream cardstock to measure 4"x5.25" and added a stmped sentiment from the Porcu-pine For You Stamp Set. I then mounted this panel on to an A2 Kraft cardbase. I started to add the die cut elements using a combination of tape runner and foam pads, building a little scene as I went.

I'm so pleased with how this card turned out, next time I might try a pastel scene and another punny sentiment.
