My card today is totally inspired by yesterdays weather, rain! My goodness the rain storms were crazy, but I am grateful for not getting caught in any. Especially as my boys had requested to ride their bikes to school.

As I mentioned last week, I treated myself to some new Concord & 9th goodies. Another stamp set that slipped into my basket was the Umbrella Turnabout.

I really enjoy using the turnabout stamps as they beautifully detailed and it is fairly quick to create a wonderful stamped background with minimal effort. I think the hardest part for me is choosing colours!

For my card I used Concord & 9th Inks, Oceanside, Sprout, Honeysuckle and Grapefruit. I trimmed my card to 10.5 x 14 cm to fit onto the card bases I make and added an angled sentiment panel for simple interest and to not take too much focus off the stamped background. I love the sentiment combos in this set too.
