Literally The Best

Literally The Best

As well as my crafty hobbies, I do love a good book too, so the Hero Art's book related release had to come my way and here's my first make with it.

I really love how the Book Window die just fades out so you can get a really cool border - I cut it from a kraft panel and coloured with my pencils using a blending stump to fade the colour out on the edges and the shadow at the bottom.   I had lots of fund creating a random rainbow of books.   I went with kraft as the base so I could shade the pages with white and grey and have them show up from the the outer frame but you could just go white card for the die cut to make the colouring quicker.

The Literally The Best sentiment set pairs perfectly with this die with lots of sentiments made to the fit the opening.  I stamped it on a scrap of rainbow coloured paper to match my books (and then glued it a bit wonky but hey ho not every card is perfect every time and usually the recipients don't notice only us craft perfectionists!)  I then just attached it to a karft card and added a few bits of glitter.   Quick, easy but really fun card to make and to receive.

I'll be back on Sunday - catch you then.
