Oh, Hello!
Oh Hello!
And Happy Thursday.
I hope you are all well and staying safe. Well, it feels like Summer is over and signs of Autumn seem to be appearing here and there. However, I am not quite ready for full sweater weather and I’m hanging on to the few signs that Summer is still here and especially soaking up the bright and cheerful flowers still blooming in my garden. This in turn inspired my card today.
Today I was inspired to ink up this big, bold and beautiful bloom from Concord & 9th Flower Shaker Shapes Stamp Set and use them to create this clean and fresh slimline card. I am still crushing on the Concord & 9th inks too, so of course used Buttercup, Marmalade & Honeysuckle for my flowers.
I used the coordinating Flower Shaker Shapes Dies to cut out the flowers once stamped and also the ‘Oh Hello’ sentiment circle. The sending smiles sentiment is also from the set, but I used a partially stamped ‘friend’ sentiment from Eclectic Garden Stamp Set.
A little bit of foam adhesive for dimension, staggering of the blooms and some Nuvo Drops finished this card off. I really like how this one turned out.
