Rainbow For a Friend

Rainbow For a Friend

Hello!

Today I am sharing a cheerful, clean and simple rainbow card for a friend.

Rainbows have always been and continue to be a popular trend within the paper craft and stamping community. However, over these past few weeks they have become a regular sight in neighbours windows and across social media as a way of thanking EVERYONE and a sign of hope during this time of uncertainty and lockdown. This inspired my card today and for all my friends faces I am missing seeing.

I've had the MFT Skinny Horizontal Stripes die since it was released and it has sat in my stash waiting the perfect time to be used! I decided to use the die to create my own stencil to ink through and create a rainbow of stripes.

I then used the 'miss your face' sentiment from Concord & 9th Lots to Say stamp set. I love the sentiments in this mini stamp set. It has 12 sentiments and for £5.95 is a bargain! I then decided to add 'friend' to the stripes using Mama Elephant Color Me Letters

After making this card, I now have lots of ideas and ways I would like to use it, hopefully my creative mojo is making a return?!

I 'hope' I have added a little cheer to your day & you find some time to be creative. Thanks for stopping by today :) Crafty Hugs Bev x
