Simple Hot Foil Background

Simple Hot Foil Background

Hello & Happy Thursday,

Now, don’t fall off your chair, I’m not using Concord & 9th today! I know, shock horror. But I really needed to give some love to some other products and I was inspired to, literally, dust off my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine and use one of the (many) hot foil plates I’ve not used yet!

I’ve had these Altenew Tiny Patterns Hot Foil Plates for ages and not used them. As you can see I chose the pinstripes for my card today. I love how subtle these foiled lines are.

I then fancied a floral and I do love this Avery Elle Layered Rose and find it super easy to layer up. I did however used C9 Inks, mainly as the cube set stays on my desk 24/7.

I used foam adhesive to adhere the rose and tucked the leaves under with double sided tape. Once I was happy with placement I added the Thank You sentiment from the stamp set. A trio of drops in white gloss, I was done.

Definitely looking forward to using these hot foils more. I think I haven’t used as much as I felt the process was longer/harder than it actually is!

That’s all from me this week.
