Simple Sympathy
Hello & happy Thursday.
Today I have a simple sympathy card.
With it being a week today that we found out that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away, the sombre air here in the United Kingdom, Commonwealth and around the world, sympathy and condolences are on peoples mind.
I reached for Reverse Confetti Roses. Reflecting on my colour choice, maybe I should have gone for Royal purples, but instead I reached for a current trio favourite. Concord & 9th Marmalade, Sorbet & Grapefruit.
I masked the edges of my card base using low tack tape and then ink blended the colours using Waffle Flower Blending Brushes. I then removed the masking tape and stamped the rose image onto my base.
The sentiment from the stamp set is stamped in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I’ve then adhered it to my card using foam adhesive.
That’s all from me this week.
