2024 Part Three

2024 Part Three

Hello & Happy Thursday,

Today I have part 2 and 4 more of my 2024 calendar pages to share with you. I kept with the same layout, stamping the dates from 2024 Calendar Stamp in the top right hand corner and masking them before I decorated them.

First today is September.

For this month I dusted off Concord & 9th Painted Peony Stamp. I love this bold layering floral. Which is really easy to line up. I used Pink Lemonade, Sweet Pea and Dragonfruit for the flower. Parsely and Evergreen for the leaves and Wheat and Nutmeg for the foliage.

October was easier this year as I have finally added some Halloween stamps to my stash! I used Concord & 9th Playful Pumpkins after ink blending a fun Halloween inspsired background.

I aactually used Distress Oxidie Inks in Wilted Violet, Black Soot and Twisted Citron for the background.

For November I actually stepped away from Concord & 9th stamps and opted for another favourite, The Greetery Fall Foliage.

Again I ink blended the background. I used Sunflower, Wheat and Spiced Cider. I then used Nutmeg, Spiced Cider, Evergreen and Artichoke to stamp the foliage.

For December I knew I wanted to use the bauble from Concord & 9th Ornament Stamp & Stitch Stamp.

I stamped this first in Cranberry ink and the hanger in black before masking them off. I then used the wreath stencils from Boughs & Holly Stencils.

Lastly, I needed a front cover as I knew I would be gifting this calendar. And I had to use the Mod Turnabout Stamps

I also went for my go to colour combo of Buttercup, Honeysuckle and Oceanside. After stamping the sentiment from the calendar set, I added a few stamped hearts. Concord & 9th fill in gaps of their stamp sets with hearts, so I have plenty to choose from ;)

I hope I have inspired you to have a go at making your own 2024 desktop calendar. Be sure to share it in the Seven Hills Crafts FB group if you do, I would love to see.

That's all the inspiration from me this year, I will be back in 2024 with more creativity and inspiration. Thank you so much for joining me on a Thursday here.
