Fantasy Jungle
Hi, Terri here! Today I am sharing a a beautiful stencilled and embossed card using some Altenew products. I started by stenciling the Imaginary Jungle Layering Stencil onto a piece of Neenah Solar Crest 80lb cardstock.
I used Altenew's newest fresh dye inks, I used the Blue Mountains Set for the birds and dotted details, the Woodland Escape set for the flower heads and beak and then the Frosted Foliage for the leaves. I used soft blending brushes and made sure to use 3 shades from each of the sets to give a beautiful blend.
Next I ran the stenciled card through my die cut machine with the Imaginary Jungle 3D Embossing Folder. I prefer to stecil and then emboss, I find that the inked card cracks less as it's a little damp. It's also really easy to line up the image this way. Lastly I stamped a sentiment from the Bold Sentiments Stamp set using the Redwood ink form the Woodland Escape set Fesh dye inks set. I adhered this to the embossed panel using foam tape. I then added the panel to an A note card.
