Good Vibes

Happy Thursday!
I’m here today to share some good vibes using Concord & 9th Good Vibes Turnabout. I was particularly drawn to this turnabout for the wonderful mix of patterns. I have to admit that the turnabout stamps are often time consuming or tricky when it comes to lining up. However, the ones with a mix of patterns are a lot more forgiving and can be misaligned and not be visible.
For my first card I used my favourite 3 colours and inked up various pattens in different colours, switching them up for each stamp turn.
I kept the card one layer, trimming it and then stamped the sentiment from the set and embossed with sparkle embossing powder.
For my second card I decided to add in a little more black and I totally regretted not buying the Good Vibes Only Dies! Entrance cue, Tall Type Alphabet Dies. You could use any dies for adding a raised sentiment like this.
I die cut the letters 3 times each and layered them together before adhering to the card. This is a technique I learnt from Jennifer McGuire and it provides a much more sturdy sentiment with dimension, over the option of applying foam adhesive to a skinny lines! I added the ‘sending’ sentiment from Mix & Match Everyday Sentiments to finish.
That’s all from me this week.
