A Simple Thank Ewe
I was searching for a Thank You card in my card collection the other day and I seem to have run out! Time to remedy that so you may get a smattering of thanks themed cards over the coming weeks starting with this one....
Yes it had to be a pun of course.... I used this cute little sheep from an older MFT stamp set, she looks rather happy and is jumping for joy :) I think sheep are fun to colour as they are just shades of grey and you can create texture on their fleece too so stamped and coloured the images and used the dies to cut them out. I used circle dies to cut an aperture and border on a textured piece of card and inked a blue sky onto the front of a card blank....
Using the same blue inks, which are Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides, I coloured a small piece of card to cut the letters from using the Birdie Browns Alphabet..... they fit just nicely under the aperture following the curve of the circle. I used foam dimensionals to attach the panel and images to the card front...... that is one gleeful sheep :)
