Quick and Easy Male Gift card

Quick and Easy Male Gift card

Today I thought I'd share a quick and easy Male card that hold a little suprise. Everyone always says that men are difficult to make for and I don't believe they are, they tend to like simple cards unlike us females.

I started by ink blending the edges of an A2 note card with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink, you could use any ink. I then used Concord and 9th Shiplap Sentiments to create a background panel on a piece of card measuring 4"x5.25".  I then stamped out the sentiments and little springs onto another piece of card to act as a topper.

I wanted my card to have a little gift card inside so created a mini pocket using a piece of white card which I inked with the distress oxide ink. I cut it to 2.5" by 4".

I scored in from the bottom, left and right edges 1/4", this wil allow the pocket to be adhered to the card. I cut added a thumb space using a punch from my stash. Using the Shiplap Sentiments stamp set I stamped Congrats in Black ink and the added it to my card.

This is such a quick make and can be made in several colours to suit all genders is you fancy batch making.

I love how the black and Frayed burlap ink keep a simple theme throughout.
